Get information of given Id

Question

I have a textbox to insert an ip address. and i have a button.
now i want to get country code,country name,region code, region name etc of that particular ip address and i want to save that detail in xml file.

so plz help me and tell me how can i do it.

Hi Satyapriya..... u r using a database. but i dont want to use any database. i want to do using free api. i m getting information using api but it is displaying only ip address and status while i need country code country name region code region name etc. Thanks
