Get Source Code from dll

Question

I have to get all the source code from the dll built in vc++. How is possible by software or any way?

You can't get the source code from DLL. It is something like library file.

You cannot get the exact code, but you can get a decompiled version of it. The most popular tool Reflector , .Net decompilers such as Dis# . ILDASM , comes bundled with the .Net Framework SDK Tools.

Please try : Interactive Disassembler Professional( IDA Pro ) . Decompile c ++ dll seems to have no effect, because to get the source code is Assembly Language.

Hi, You said you get this result - This file does not contain a managed assembly. It means your assembly contains unmanaged code. So i think it is not possible to decompile assembly which contains unmanaged code. Because both decompiler’s i mentioned in my answer are useful for managed assemblies. And for unmanaged assembly i think reverse engineering is not possible because from last two years i am also searching for same tool or application but i did not get any such type of tool.

By using ILspy - I get this result. D:\execode\msvcp100.dll ' This file does not contain a managed assembly. By using jetbrains --- we get result this dll does not supported. Is there any software which can give source code from any dll built in any language? Please help me to sort out.
