Get the row values of a gridview and display it on next Page

Question

how can i send the row values of gridview to next page using session. i had fileidfilename filetype etc in my gridview .... but i want to get the filename in the next page when i click on a ButtonField in grid view. how can i get it? using c# help me plz...

Hello @navya you can use this method On first page Session[Id] = GridView1.Rows[e.NewEditIndex].Cells[1].Text; Session[Name] = GridView1.Rows[e.NewEditIndex].Cells[2].Text; On second page you can use this code protected void Page_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { txtId.Text = Session[Id].ToString(); txtName.Text = Session[Name].ToString(); }
