Getting Exception while converting a number in form of string to INt32

Question

Hi In my program i am converting a string 0 to Int32. It is throwing an exception. Can anyone plz tell me why its throwing an exception. I double checked the variable for the value it contain and its 0.

Make sure your string is indeed an number and try with other value. If you don't already have it change your code to something like int number = -1; if (Int32.TryParse(yourstring out number)) { // Now you know the conversion was successful }
