Getting started with IoT.

Question

Hello i am working as software engg on MVC 5angular jsHTML 5jQuerySQL Server. I want to get start with IoT as i am E&Tc engg.i want to utilise electronic knowledge. so how can i get start with IoT? Please help me to get start with IoT. Thanks in advance.

IoT - is a broad topic I suppose you might be having some idea about IoT and that is the reason you are curious to know more and have posted this question. So there are open source languages like Python which you should give a thought of learning - if you plan for open source IoT projects. As I mentioned above it's about hardware interaction and connection - there are a lot of companies that provide hardware and programming interfaces and also infrastructure- you can buy a variety of hardware get sample code and tutorials and build your own IoT products.
