Give valide email in prompt input box javascript

Hi I want to send a mail when give valid email id to prompt input box. If mail id is not valid then no any mail send to it please describe how can we do?

I want to one information i have two variable x y . the value of x and y is x= 10; y= 20; i want to the value of y in prmpt box when x have no any value please describe how to get it.
