Gridview CheckboxChecked(true) data to database Reterive id

My Table Record id Staff_ID DeptID 256 1049 7 257 1049 1 258 1049 4 i want above DeptID wise reterived check box (true) checked ticked. Thanks

Hi In Designer code you need to '/> from databse you need to provide the result for DeptID as bit I have added an example like below. select CAST(CASE deptID WHEN isnull(deptID'') THEN 0 ELSE 1 END AS BIT) as deptID from [dbo].[Students] Hope this will help. Abhishek

write a query for the retrieve on dept_Id so simple. And if you wants on checkbox click the generate an event on the chckbok click and execute that query on that event.
