GridView Edit index

i have another question

i am using EditIndex gridview property to but i want this property only on perticuler index column in gridview
means if i have an 3 column in gridview so when i make editable gridview so i get only editable 3rd column of gridview

EditIndex gridview property did not give the functionality so that you can make a specific column editable. If you want to acheive the funcionality you can user template column and in tamplate column place Textboxes. On edit event make textboxes enable else disable(default). If have any confusion revert.
