Gridview in ASP.Net

Question

Hi I put a grid view in my webpage and fill it with database in connected mode. Now I want that grid view is updated every 1 minute from database with fresh data.. How this possible? plz reply..

Hi You can do it in several ways. 1) Client side you can count and refresh the page to load the grid. 2) You can have the timer control in the server side to refresh the grid for every one minute. 3) If you are not using AJAX you can set a META refresh tag to reload the page every 5 minutes. 4) If you do use AJAX you can set a setTimeout to refetch the data. similar thread has the solution: http://forums.asp.net/t/1329636.aspx
