Help me with web forms!

Question

I'm just a newbie in programing asp.net in c#. My problem is I have to web forms in my project. How can i open the second web form? for example i click on a button on the first web form it will open the second web form. Pls help me!

Hi !! If you mean that you want the second page to use some data on the first page you should read about session  viewState and cache as example you have a format of the web that you chose in the form1 and when you go to form2 you expect to have the same state but it does not you should have something to make it remeber the state that you want so you use session for this particular example. If you read about it and make some examples you will know what i mean. Hope that helps!!!

Hi !!! That is simple follow the steps below:- 1) in your form in design mode double click on the button to generate the code behind for the butons' event 2) Inside this event method type the following code this.Server.Transfer(webform2.aspx); 3) run your application and click on the button to go to the webform2.aspx page Note:- webform2 is the assumed name of the second page in your project I hope that helps
