help with c#

hi guys.
I'm writting a messenger with C#.
You know in yahoo when someone comes online, you in your list have a yellow face on in your messenger.what is the field for each ID? is it a listbox? then how can i add picture to it?!

If you are writing your own messenger from the ground up you should check out some of the work that we have done in Gaim (http://gaim.sourceforge.net). Since it's open source you should be able to take a peek and glean some ideas of how they did it and apply it to your own code.
