Help with LINQ selecting from a lit

Hi I have a list of strings from which I wish to select unique values. For example my list might be: [user=Peter][count=13] [user=Peter][count=2] [user=Colin][count=3] [user=Sue][count=7] [user=Sue][count=9] I want to obtain a result list that contains a list of unique users; for example a result that looks like: Peter Colin Sue Can someone help with a LINQ for this? Thanks for any help Peter

You need to parse the data; LINQ is not designed to parse data.

OK thanks - I had written a simple loop to extract the unique data as I wanted - I was just wondering if such a feat were possible with a single/simple LINQ.
