I made a text reader by C# to monitor log files.But when I tried to read a log file which had been opened by another application,a error occured.It sounds like the application has occupied the file,so I can't read it.However,when I use UltraEdit or Windows notepad to do the same thing,no error occur. Why UltraEdit can,but I can't.Please help me!Thank you!!!

I use a RichTextBox to display the content of logs.The code is: try { RichTextBox.LoadFile(pathSystem.Text.RichTextBoxType.PlaintText); } Thanks.

What code are you using to open the file? You might be having problems because you're trying to get the wrong access level.
