am just starting as a web developer and presently i need to host a site. so how do one host a site together with database? thanks

It depends on which framework you are using. Process is something similar to the following one, You enlist your required assemblies and frameworks; PHP, ASP.NET, Node.js... Backed up with SQL Server or MySQL or other database. You search for a hosting provider for your service. Different providers would have different solutions and budget scenarios. Search through them, look for a best solution provider. Instead of budget or subscription charges, look for frameworks provided, Up-time, HDD and database space (HDD must be unlimited), Bandwidth (should be unlimited). Then purchase a subscription and upload your project to their server. Remember to check their solutions before you upload or purchase the subscription. This helps you so that you do not have to pay a fortune in future.
