which button do you want to add??? for adding edit updatedelete buttons there are many ways e.g if you want to add delete button right click on gridview and select add new column select button from field type select command name as delete from list and provide the other details and add. the another way is add new column make it template field and in that item template add button from tool box etc... hope it helps you
