How can I disable the Task Manager?

Hi everyone. I need some help. I have a program that I have to secure which means I need to disable the task manager in XP and Vista. Can anyone please help me find a solution to this? Thank you.

hi all there is problem when we disable task manager from registry (like above). that it only disable the task manager for administrator type of users. the standard type of user's can still access the task manager.

Hi If you are using Windows XP VISTA Business Ultimate and Enterprise editions then you can disable the Task Manager through the Local Group Policy Edtitor as well. Here's how: 1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK 4. In the Group Policy settings window 5. Select User Configuration and Select Administrative Templates 6. Select System and Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options 7. Select Remove Task Manager Double-click the Remove Task Manager option 8. Click on Enabled radio button and apply the changes. 9. It will disable your task manager. If you are using any other version of VISTA that is not mentioned in above list (like Home) then you have to do it using registry.
