How can i hide form from tab page..

Question

I want to hide form through button but from tabpage i want to hide see below. i have show my form in tabepage but now i want to hide so how can i do this.

Since you cannot hide tab pages and I am guessing that is what you want to do you can remove it from the tab control without loosing your form. On the form that contains the TabControl 1 add a second TabControl 2 set it's visability to FALSE. In the button that hides the form transfer ownership of the TabPage to the hidden tab control TabControl1.TabPages[tbMyForm].Parent = TabControl2; To return the page back to TabControl1 TabControl2.TabPages[tbMyForm].Parent = TabControl1; This should solve your problem.

hey Feroz TabPage controls are constrained by their container so some of the properties inherited from the Control base class will have no effect including Top Height Left Width Show and Hide. The tabs in a TabControl are part of the TabControl but not parts of the individual TabPage controls. Members of the TabPage class such as the ForeColor property affect only the client rectangle of the tab page but not the tabs. Additionally the Hide method of the TabPage will not hide the tab. To hide the tab you must remove the TabPage control from the TabControl.TabPages collection.

Dear Lodha Its not working i have already checked... Normal form hid and show that i can do but i want hide from tabpage. i show my forms in tabpage.. through tabcontrol..
