How can I protect my C# codes from Reflector or Dotpeek or any .NET decompiler program?

I develop bespoke, mainly financial, corporate applications. Thankfully, I've never been a 'shrink-wrap' developer and so haven't had to worry too much about protecting intellectual property. If I were in that market, then I think I'd probably develop them in unmanaged C++ which is much harder to reverse engineer and produces faster executables than .NET. The downside, of course, is that applications take much longer to develop.

You should obfuscate your assemblies using apps like Crypto Obfuscator or Dotfuscator to prevent this.
