How can I use ColorDialog contol to change textbox color ?

I mean I want to use a button to create Color Dialog to change the color of text boxes. Please Guide me.

If it's just one textbox (say textBox1) whose background color you want to change: private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { ColorDialog cd = new ColorDialog(); cd.AnyColor = true; cd.AllowFullOpen = false; cd.SolidColorOnly = false; DialogResult dr = cd.ShowDialog(); if (dr == DialogResult.OK) { textBox1.BackColor = cd.Color; } } If you want to change the background color of all textboxes on the form, then replace this line: textBox1.BackColor = cd.Color; with this: RecursiveChangeBackColorTextBoxes(this.Controls, cd.Color); and add this method: private void RecursiveChangeBackColorTextBoxes(Control.ControlCollection cc, System.Drawing.Color color) { foreach (Control ctrl in cc) { if (ctrl is TextBox) { TextBox tb = (TextBox)ctrl; tb.BackColor = color; } else if (ctrl.HasChildren) { RecursiveChangeBackColorTextBoxes(ctrl.Controls, color); } } }
