You cannot use Array.Resize method for multidimensional array. The Array.Resize accepts only one-dimensional array.

There is no direct resize method for multidimensional array but can work around like this. int [] a = new int[22]; int [] b = new int[4 4]; ; a[0 0] = 1; a[0 1] = 2; a[1 0] = 3; a[1 1] = 4; Array.Copy(a b a.Length);
