How decompile dll to its source code

Question

Hi All I want to see what method and what logics is build up in DLL and make some change according to my need So how decompile the DLL to its native complete source code. Thanks

In addition to what Vulpes said you will not be able to do very much if it is unmanaged code.

You'll need to use a disassembler such as: Redgate Reflector ( http://reflector.red-gate.com/download.aspx?TreatAsUpdate=1 ) which is no longer free or JetBrains dotPeek ( http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/NETPEEK/Introducing+JetBrains+dotPeek ) which is free but is a trial product at present. Notice that you won't be able to recover the original names of local variables or any comments or preprocessor directives as these are lost when the source code is compiled to IL. Also if the DLL has been obfuscated you won't be able to make sense of anything without using specialist hacker tools.
