as your last solution is working fine when i used any listview items that is deleted but when i give selected items(Symbol) its not deleted.

Connecting to the database for each check box selection might not be a good idea. Still can be done according to the logic applied.

Here's the general path you'll have to follow. Remove the item from the ArrayList that is populating your ListView . Once that is done you will have to call notifyDataSetChanged() on the Adapter that is being used for the ListView
