where and how would I know my application is running on which app server?

That will be shown on your control panel. What application are you using and which language is it written on? If your application is already running and available to the public then your subscription already includes this information. Kindly contact your hosting management and they will tell you which software services they are using. Otherwise you may want to do the migration under any case. Can you share the details of A and B so that we can share our own views too?

My situation is that I need to find which server my app is running on. Suppose if my app is running on server 'A' then I need to migrate to server 'B'. If it's already in 'B' then I don't. So how would I know?
