How do I render an ajax error page in a different div?

I am handling error by overriding OnException method after that I need to render my partial error view into a div in _Layout.cshtml and not into the original div where it occurred. Thanks!

Manas thank you for replying. The results are still loaded into the original div where ajax call was going to render it. I was hoping to load the result into another div that is in _Layout page.

Try like this: Put below OnException method in bottom part of controller.
