C# first drag n drop the input(file) in the html controls which r in tool box of studio. by this one u can browse n select a file from local system which has to upload to server. after that in submit or upload button write the following code. int size = FilePath.PostedFile.ContentLength; int _size = Convert.ToInt32(size); byte[] sound = new byte[size]; string filePath = System.IO.Path.GetFullPath(FilePath.PostedFile.FileName); FileStream _fs = new FileStream(filePath FileMode.OpenOrCreate); _fs.Read(sound 0 size); _fs.Close(); here FilePath is the tool name i.e id given to input(file) from html controls. then insert this byte array i.e sound to database use varbinary or image datatype in datbase to hold this byte array. dont forgot to include runat = server for the Html input(file) in that source code. other wise u wont get this name FilePath in ur .cs class
