how is data stored in C#

Question

I just wish to know how is data stored in C#.I mean i wish to create an application where user can store some numbers.I want to distribute it.The users can then add/remove any number.SO where does these numbers get stored.If i user SQL do i need to make them install SQL server too?

Actually i wish to store nearly 300 lines of data.It can be put in SQl but then how can user access data without installing sql

Well you have to put the data somewhere. If you don't want to store it in a text file or some other type of file you could always look to the registry. When I use text files I use SteamWriter & StreamReader. They work well for me. Check http://www.dapfor.com/en/net-suite/net-grid/features/conditional-binding for some examples.

If i go with sql server how will user use the database?I mean how can i integrate SQL server in mu application

if you want permament storage go with sql server else List will be fine.
