How many type of authentication in asp.net ? please explain passport authentication.

In asp.net three type of authentication is present 1-From based security 2-Window base security 3-Passport base security basically passport base security are used in different application. e.g suppose you has a account on gmail if you log in in gmail you can also used your orkut profile without re-logging means different server application is used trough passport base authentication.
