How Save dropdown selected text in sqlserver using EF in MVC

Hi Friends  I would like to know  how to save selected dropdown text into sqlserver using the EF in MVC 4 .i Have binded the dropdown in one table .Now i have to save the dropdown selected Text in another table . Thx in advance  - Karthik
