If you have stored something to the database already you can store exceptions as well. Exceptions are no exception (wow!) to any other piece of data. However having said that you may also consider using custom highly configurable components specialised in logging exceptions in variety of ways such as Log4net.

You can use Try Catch in SQL Stored Procedure as well.. Put your code in Try Block Call another stored procedure to log the error into a table.
