how to add calender control in asp.net

hi i made one .aspx from in that i want to add calender control for new user registrationin that for taking birthdate field i want to take calender control .when user select date it can be show into the textbox & then calender invisible.in c# there is 'datetimepicker' so how in .aspx form is created?

Best suggestion for you used in your applicaton Ajax calender i will tell you step how to used that calender in u r application step 1)ScriptManager step 2)TextBox go to textbox smarttag and select Calender this can be work

I really hope no one takes offense but the examples already listed are OLD. The author of one of the the articles has revised the article to say it is now obsolete. He recommends you use the jQuery UI date picker. I would recommend either the Ajax Control Toolkit calendar control or the jQuery UI date picker. I have used both. Both work well. Both (especially the jQuery control) are popular. If you're not already familiar with jQuery then the Ajax Control Toolkit would be much easier to figure out because it's a drag and drop control.
