First create a instance of checkbox and then add it into the page or any placeholder or panel CheckBox cbx= new CheckBox(); cbx.ID=checkbox1; Page.Controls.Add(cbx); OR panel1.Controls.Add(cbx); OR placeholder1.Controls.Add(cbx);

You can do that firstly drop down check box and do it visible property as false and where you want to show check box then write this code checkbox1.visible = true
