How To add data into Drop Down List from text box dynamicaly

Question

I have one textboxone submit button and one Dropdown list. when i enter text and click sub button the data should add to dfropdown list dynamically. How to do this. I am new to this html and javascript so get me some simple code also. Thanks in advance.
