Hi Jagdeesh You may also consider CSS approach. You didn't mention which Sharepoint version. Below is the css for SP 2013  if you inspect the element you will find the ID of the Div wrap and apply after/before and content properties. You shall follow same approach whichever SP version you are on. #welcom eMenuBox span::before { content : Welcome  ; } This will add welcome text before user name as shown below.
