How to add textbox in applicationbar in windows phone 8

Hi I have to implement a search functionality on my current page for that I want to add a searchbox in ApplicationBar . Please tell me How to add Textbox in Applcationbar.

Hi is not possible to insert a textbox in application bar because it's not derived to UIelement. Have two choise i my opinion add a textbox in a grid at the end of the page or another page only for search. Regards.
