How to add two numbers when checkbox is selected through JavaScript

Hi i have page called data having price and item check boxes along with value. if user clicks on the check box accordinly another page called total should get updated. This has to be done by javascript Regards

Hi let me clear my question properly. i have data.html page in that two values with check boxes for each when the check box is selected the summation of both the values should be displayed in the total.html page thanks

Hi Ksutha if your data page is open by using javascript function window.open() as a pop up page from total page. Then you can pass the current total amount in querystring and on checkbox click event call javascript function. In javascript function add the values and use window . opener .document.forms[0].getElementById('control ID of toptal page).value =yourvalue; to assign the value to update the total of total page.
