how to add windows media player to asp.net 2.0 pages

Question

Can someone help me on how to place a windows media player to my web pages.

i got a dll from net and i reffered that dll to my project...and it wrked well with all media files mp3,avi,etc... but the problem is that it doesnt accept large sized media files. i think its because, streaming is not supported. i need help on how to apply streaming

Hi prabhat the code that has given above by Mr. Raju through that we can use the Media Player in the Browser and the code that has given by me is different. i had took one example like while clicking the button the Media player should open and play that particular song or else. Thanks

Hi Arshad I've already tried a couple of methods to embed the windows media player into a web page. But in each case I had to write all those lengthy codes to get that thing done. But I just saw this thread and tried the path that you suggested but unfortunately didn't succeed. So can you please help me figure out how you did that in the code behind using the WindowsMediaPlayerClass?? Regards Djpro

Hi.hey no need to right this lengthy code/u do one thing just add dll of Windows Media player in ur project through the Com Component.after adding that u can add one button and onthe click event protected void btnSubmit_Click( object sender EventArgs e) { WMPLib. WindowsMediaPlayerClass wm = new WMPLib.
