How can we add a windows service in a window application to wish birthday to the contacts by taking there dob from the same database which is used for application.

Hai to add a windows service to ur application just right click ur windows application name in the solution explorer-->add existing item-->windows service... Hope it helps..

with the help of your response i have installed my application n service both but when i start my service it is giving following message and stops the service on local computer started and stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do for example the performance logs and alert services can u help me with this thanks for responses regards narendra singh
