how to avoid transaction deadlock occur due to stored proc.?

hello Actually I have one stored procedure containing all delete statements... I got an error of transaction deadlock in some cases.... not everytime... So plzz help me to avoid this issue... Ratika Tamboli

hello you can use nolock condition in your statement where you select data for delete. it avoid deadlock condition syntax... select * from table with (nolock) thanks mark as answered if helpfull
