how to backup the iis server applications in windows 7?

Hi sir Tell me the steps to backup the iis server applications in windows 7. I have more than 25 web application hosted in IIS Server 7.5. I need to reinstall my OS so i need to backup IIS Server applications hosted in IIS. Kindly give me the solution for this problem.

Hi I think you need to take back of your actual application also. From IIS you can take only virtual directory back up with all configuration. I suggest first you take backup of your actual application which will be reside in your drive. To find the path of your each application right click on your virtual directory->Manage Application->Adv Setting->Physical path To take the back up of IIS refer the below link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/302573 Regards Iftikar
