how to bind asp.net menu control to database?

Question

I have to bind asp.net menu items to database how can i do it using c# in asp.net.

please any help /idea how to do this. using sitemapdatasource it seems a huge task as i have to generate new sitemap datasource from database then bind it to menu. any other idea to bind the menu.??????
