How to calculate difference between 2 TimeSpan ?

Hello Everyone In my MVC4 project I want to calculate the difference of employee's checkIn and checkOut time. But the ' workedTime ' shows munus sign. How can I remove when page showing in browser? TimeSpan d1 = new TimeSpan(000000); d1 =08:14:55; TimeSpan day = new TimeSpan(08 30 00); TimeSpan workedTime = new TimeSpan(00 00 00); workedTime = d1.Subtract(day);

These are called strategic decisions. In code you may choose do ignore any entry. However the employee will be fighting tooth and nail about it with HR / Management. So you will need to involve HR explain them the situation and request them a strategy to resolve it. It is their call. All you can do it just implement the logic. HR will need to educate employees about how the system is working. Some sort ofdiscipline will need to enforced for correct functioning of the system.

Looks like you misunderstood my response. I never expected that you write a trigger to do this. What I mean is you can do this in a stored procedure. Believe it or not in past I have worked on this table structure. I believe it is a cosec database for Matrix biometric attendance system. The only question was what if you get data like Entry - Entry - Exit or Entry - Exit - Exit Notice that person either entered twice and existed twice. Either he forgot to punch or tail-gated. We don't know. How to resolve these scenarios. You will need to think and decide on this even if you do it in C# Hope it helps! My help is available on request.

Hello Everyone Thank you for replay me. I want workedTime output without minus sign. When substract d1- day. Now It will get minus value. I can not substract day-d1 because d1 means employee CheckIn time. It will be increase and decrease sometime with respect to checkIn time.
