how to change picturebox image to another image?

Question

i develop movie multiplex application in that i have 2 category of class exclusive and special class.
when i choose exclusive class the seat images are change in green color seat and the special class image are change in gray color.
it is very tough to me to genrate picturebox click event.
so,how to make function of this.

thank you now the random number is work. and yes i was used textbox for no.of ticket and Button for proceed the calculating total ticket and payment.this is done by me. but the problem is that when user put value on textbox and click on proceed button the seats panel is visible and user select the no.of seat which values are put in textbox. so how to write function of this application?

If you're saying that the random numbers are sequential or the series is repeating then the most likely reason is that you've put this line: Random rand = new Random(); in the same method as the code which is selecting the random numbers. To work properly 'rand' should be defined as a static field of the form or class: static Random rand = new Random(); As far as the other problem is concerned I gather that the user selects either exclusive special or normal from the combobox and then enters the number of tickets (between 1 and 10) he/she wants in the textbox. I don't know whether a button then has to be pressed for tickets to be allocated or whether this happens automatically when focus leaves the textbox. You appear to be saying the allocation is done at random rather than looking through unoccupied seats sequentially. Is there only a certain block of seat numbers (within the overall 150) that can be chosen for the exclusive special or normal classes or can any seat be chosen for any of these classes? If the seats can only be chosen at random I don't understand why the other seats have to be given a color indicating that they can't be chosen? Also what has the pictureBox_Click event got to do with all this?

when number of ticket i put 3 so select only 3 seat randomly in one selected class(exclusive specialnormal). but it select in serial way. give me other solution if u have and plzgive me another idea for the selection of seats

The code to produce random numbers is pretty standard in .NET and is working fine for me. So what's not working? If it's producing a seat that's already been taken then you need to keep calling Next() until you get an unoccupied seat.

If the seats are numbered from 1 to 150 you can get a random number between those two limits as follows: // put this at form level static Random rand = new Random(); // within some method int seatNumber = rand. Next (1 151); // note needs to be one more than upper limit EDIT: Sorry GetNext should be just Next

I thought from the way you'd posed the question that you'd already figured out the logic for that and put it in the picturebox_Click handler. What you couldn't figure out was how to call the handler programatically. However if that's not the case you'll need to tell me a lot more about the code you already have. I'd imagine that you'll have: 1. An array of 150 pictureboxes to represent the seats. 2. A corresponding array recording the current class of seat (exclusive special or normal). 3. Three images of the seats in white green and gray. 4. A single Click handler shared by all the pictureboxes. However perhaps you could confirm this and also let me know how you determine which class a particular seat belongs to.

I'm assuming you have the code to change the image in the picturebox's Click handler. If you want to call this programatically rather than having the user click the picturebox then you can do so by just providing the appropriate arguments to the handler. The first argument 'object sender' is easy - just pass the picturebox reference itself. The second argument 'EventArgs e' is not so obvious but the value EventArgs.Empty is harmless so I'd use that.
