how to change the width of a textbox in an editable grid

when i click on my edit button, it will automatically change to textboxes which allow me to edit.. the qns is, can i change it to a dropdownlist instead of texboxes.. and can how can i change the width of the textboxes or the dropdownlist? the codes for my edit command... MyGrid.EditItemIndex = Args.Item.ItemIndex
