Ok great. So what you can do in the button click event you need to get the RowCollection. Use javascript based on rowindex. var row = textBoxId.parentNode.parentNode; var rowIndex = row.rowIndex - 1; If the button is associated with your row.Can't really understand your design.Is it ItemTemplate?or what?Why you want to get only the last row? If the requirement is static then you can play with the SelectedItem property.Also you can play with the ItemSource
