how to clear taskbar

hi i use notifyicon in window form and show my icon in taskbar in rightside in corner but i run my application many time and every time show my icon with ballon and exit application but the icon show in taskbar and many icon show when i hover the mouse then icon is clear now i want to clear every time by my application to clear icon in notify using when i exit the application thanks help

If any of those solutions not working try to debug your code. Put a break point in the dispose method of your form and check whther it is executed properly. If it is not executed until the end that means your application crashes before closing. So your notfication item won't be disposed.

Hi Sharma Please try this. Dispose notifyicon in formclosing event. private void Form1_FormClosing( object sender FormClosingEventArgs e) { notifyIcon1.Dispose(); } If my answer helps please accept my answer.

thanks to post my cose is notifyIcon1.ShowBalloonTip(200 Welcomr  + clsconstant.name SHREERAM IT SOLUTION SOFTWARE SYSTEM ToolTipIcon.Info); this is code on form load event when application is start but some time icon not dispose i not remmembe some like system tray is clear code in c# i have all ready worked with them but at this time not i m not get then u get some thing idea then tell me

Hi Sharma I tried to recreate your issue. But in my application it automatically disappears when the application exits. If you can please paste your code.
