How to compel user ?

Question

This is not exactly related to C# sorry for the same. The situation is I have written a class in C#(say root.cs) if some one uses it I want to compel the user to call 2 public methods (out of say 20 public methods written in root.cs) that he must call inorder to make the correct use of roor.cs please guide

u can maintain too status variable. Make them private.. When user uses the first public method set the corresponding private boolean variable to true; do the same for 2nd public method If the user use other public method without using these u can send him a message checking the value of those two variable However these can be done in run time. I dont think there is any way in design time to make sure user must call some public method prior to calling others. May be u can check these constaints within other public methods . Just for curiosity why u want to make things like these way ?? :D Cheers
