how to convert a MVC application into a webservice

Question

Anybody please explain how to convert an application developed in asp.net MVC architecture into a web service??is that possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi BheeshmThank you for your response.I have created a MVC 5 application to save and retrieve some details including an image from SQL server database(using Entity Framework and scaffolding).Now I want to add a web service in the same application for the same functionality. I am new to this technology..so bit confused..Please help me..Thanks..

Hi Jaima Can you explain what actually you want to acheive? Webservice are usually Components that can be used by other applications. You should retrieve all the functionality from your MVC Application and Put it into WebMethods Or OperationContract(WCF) for Using them.
