how to count link clicks

Hi guys, I would like to show how many time a link is viewed. thank for your help.

if links are too many then you can use Database or XML file to Store the Counts of Views of Particular Page ... and as Consider links then if you click link then it will open page ... now if you have counter on page load then it will obvious record count of view ..you tube generates pages Dynamically ..so it create new Database Entry ...for every video in its database and also records view in database when some one visit the particular video page ..

thanks Kirtan, this can be useful for counting a page but I asked for each link on a page, for example if you look at Youtube web site, beside each link you can see how many time the link is viewed. Thanks again

you can Count LinkView By Creating Application State Variable like Application["Views"] = 0; at initially when application Runs First time Then Increment it On Page Load Method to Count Total Views of Page ... to Increment it you can Make Code like Application["Views"] = Convert.ToInt32(Application["Viewes"].ToString())+1; Hope It Clears your Doubt :) if it helps you then check "do you like this answer" check box :) if still you have doubt then ask me :)
