how to count values in crystal report

Hello friends, I m facing a big problem in crystal report .. i want to count Male and Female in crystal report which is coming from DB.. is there any formula for counting Male or Female....

hi Naeem, u can use Running Total to achieve ur task. 1)U just have to right click on ur Gender field(Male,Female). 2)Insert Running total 3)In type of summary select Count. 4)Evaluate->Use Formula 5){Tablename.fieldname}='Male' follow same procedure for creating Female Count
