How to create a new window in gridview when i click the select in grid?

Hi to all I really new to vb.net application...what i want to know is i used to display the some details in the gridview ..i done that..while i click the select option in the grid i need to display the particular row's details in detailsview...that should be displayed in a new window... If anyone possiblehelp me with example code Thanks in advance to all...bye

With select option don't know but one way you can do it say keep the Hyperlink in your gridview say Details set the property of this hyperlink as navigateurl=newpage.aspx and target=_blank in newpage_ load bind the details to detailsview. For binding details if you need some id etc.. then pass it from navigateurl property like navigateurl=newpage.aspx?id=10.
